The Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is a non-profit, independent, apolitical, impartial, and democratic society made up of individuals and legal entities whose mission is to mobilize Georgian women entrepreneurs in Georgia and abroad to promote their collaboration and possibilities. Implementing a long-term development strategy and meeting the charter's objectives. The Association does not pursue any political goals and does not represent the interests of any political party in its activities.

The following principles guide the organization:

A. Equality of public officials, private businesses, and public organizations;

B. Equality and mutual respect among members, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or political beliefs.

The Women Entrepreneurs Association (AWE) aims to promote the socio - economic status and financial sustainability of Georgian women in business and industry, as well as their local and international integration.

Our mission is to empower women entrepreneurs and expand their scope of action in order to build an international network of collaboration; to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience among existing women's entrepreneurial organizations both domestically and internationally. Locally and internationally, advocating for them;

Georgian women entrepreneurs' motivation and involvement in the region's socioeconomic development;

Single mothers, ethnic minorities, women in incarceration and probation, and women in entrepreneurship will all benefit from targeted training and participation.

Training and participation of young women, particularly schoolchildren from the region, in commercial enterprise.

Women entrepreneurs participating in international exhibitions and festivals; Encouragement of female entrepreneurs in highland villages;

Women entrepreneurs are being trained to improve their professional expertise in accordance with worldwide norms.

 

AWE Membership and Eligibility Responsibilities:

A member of the Association may be a female entrepreneur, legal or natural, whose activities are in line with entrepreneurial activities, who is not limited by current legislation to be a member of the Association, and who shares the Association's basic principles, The charter and principles are in accordance with the state's rules (if any).

A natural or legal person who actively supports the Association's activities can also be admitted as an honorary member of the Association by the Association's Board of Directors. The rights and obligations of an honorary member are not the same as those of a full member of the Association as defined by this Charter.

The association's membership is entirely voluntary. A member of the association pays a membership fee of 25 (twenty-five) GEL four times a year (once every quarter), as determined by the board. In all, 100 (one hundred) GEL are spent per year.

The candidate must submit the recommendations of a member of the Association as well as a member of the Board of Directors in order to be considered for membership in the Association.

Applicants for membership in the Association are required to submit a written application to the Association's Board members. The association's executive board decides on membership (hereinafter referred to as "the board"). The application for membership will be evaluated at the Association's Board members' next meeting. The Executive board' decision to accept or reject membership in the Association is final.

Members of the Association are not permitted to use the Association's name or resources in opposition to the Charter's goals and objectives, or to the Association's damage.
